Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic Massage uses a variety of gliding and kneading moves to manipulate tense, sore, tired muscles. Clients are always discretely draped and the pressure applied is adjusted to individual needs.

Therapeutic Massage

  1. Relieves muscle tension and spasm.
  2. Eases pain through relaxation and the release of the body's own natural pain killers -endorphins.
  3. Increases circulation of blood and lymph fluids.

A program of regular massage therapy sessions increases your body awareness and teaches you to monitor its signals and needs.

Myofascial Release

Fascia is connective tissue that lines and covers every muscle, bone, nerve, artery, vein, and internal organ in the continuous network that exists in the body.  Any fascial restriction can be a source of tension to the rest of the body.  Myofascial release causes the connective tissue to relax, release and stretch, enabling the return to pain free, functional movement.

CranioSacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy benefits a wide array of ailments by assisting your body's self regulating mechanism. It is a soothing and relaxing massage that can be performed with the client fully clothed. This gentle approach, in which a light touch is used, seeks the release of restrictions in the craniosacral system.  This is done by monitoring the subtle rhythm in the body, as cerebral spinal fluid flows through the system.

Sports Massage

Massage prior to athletic performance warms, loosens and helps prepare the muscles for intensive work. It complements the athletic warm-up. In so doing, sports massage helps prevent injuries and enhances performance.

Post-event massage or post-training massage relieves muscle soreneness and stiffness. It facilitates recuperation from fatigue and allows early return to optimal muscle function.
